My oppopion in using ICT in my special trade of plumbing and pipe fitting.

The most important plumbing building drawings symbols in house plans used by the architecture, is very important to give the lesson using ICT. When delivering a lesson about drawings it will be much easier for students to understand the lesson very well.

Reflecting on how I used ICT in the class

I have recorded my self to show my students how the system works, every one did understand the all concept.My negative experience was that the video was not clear enough I think next time before I prepare a video I have to re-check it .I will still used it because they were so surprise to see me on the video talking and the idea was clear to them.   

New or current trends in the use of ICTs in my area of specialisation.

This picture will make the students to understand how the toilet water system works each components have its own functions.with the new trend will make things easy to break down the pictures with they components clear to see it,and to be understand clear and to the point.This is a very good idea I will still used it, with out the use of ICT it will be very difficult to make students to understand the all concept, when you a doing the development but with the use of ICT they will understand when they see the diagrams on PPT.

Focus on the trainees’ response to ICT

I was the mentor for this trainee, his fellow trainees could not take him serious but when I was done polishing him,  he is now confidante with him self and he can perform very well with his practical and theory task because of the use of ICT the new technology in plumbing and pipe fitting
is a leakage detector it will show you where the leakage is no need to dig.
 

How relevant is this trend to your trade here in Namibia? Can you use it? Why and how?

Where I am sitting is were I was sitting 13 years ago as a trainee,but come back as a trainer for plumbing and pipe fitting. This new  trend in my trade is very import in Namibia as you see how the economic is growing very slowly Municipality, is charging customer on a high rate due to wrong measurement taken or the meter read will just write what is in his or her head. But with this new technology  even your gate is locked the dice will pick up the signal from your water meter and the readings that you have used in that month, will appear on the screen  to be able to print the invoice for that month, is very imperative to the Namibia nation, The ear pies is used to hear the sound and the bars on the screen will go high and the sound using the sound ear pies will sound with a base,then you must know there is a water leakage,this device create employment   and self employment to assist for people who needs that help.
